Before this shit hits the fan.
I feel like I'm the Pilot on an American Airline Plane about to collide with a huge ass Delta Plane. But the only reason why I'm hesitating not to jump is because it's "my duty" to stay on and not fear death. Fuck that.
Like the smart person I am, I will jump off.
EDIT: No, but seriously, I'm leaving because I am being disrespected, getting negative karma for no reason, and I feel like no one is listening to me when I try to help out *COUGHDAViECOUGH*
Also, the whole "nomination" thing is bullshit. I don't see why Clay has to start over when he was demoted for no reason - Oh, wait, I know why - because people didn't "like" him and you, the Admin's and moderators, had to cut him off for the sake of Reality Skanks. That's fucked up.
I also don't like some things about the forum - things I tried to fix, actually - but because of the self-opinionated Admin on this board, it didn't matter to him.
I also feel sorry for the mods doing something that they're not really supposed to be doing: making more threads in different sections to keep the post count up. If people wanted to post, they'd do it. I don't think people should be FORCED to post, when the board is supposedly "free" and "loosely moderated".
Moderators are supposed are NOT supposed to promote. The site should promote itself.
Even worse, the Admin has the MEMBERS promoting. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I had faith in this board, but the corrupt system is what's pushing me away. The forum is beautiful, but a jail cell with gold plates around it is still a jail cell. Yes, that is in correspondence to the forum's inability of.

You're being "Disrespected" because you have negative karma for "no reason"? You're disliked bu Josh Ploof, and a few other members on here. The Karama system is a POPULARITY contest. It's not my fault nor problem that people happen to dislike you. If you really don't like the fact that you have such low karma, then you should do something about it. I don't know what, but yeah.

Clay was demoted because no one agreed with him being promoted. Eric and I both believed that Clay had deserved the position and has worked hard for it, and he STILL continues to impress us with all the work he does for the boards while being demoted.

I just read to you every single "thing you tried to fix" on the phone, and the things you tried to fix were terrible ideas that only suit YOUR benefit. You asked us to remove signatures entirely when that's one of this site's bigger appeals (to the vh1 posters anyway). You've continuously asked me to remove the karma system because people neg rep you for no reason. And you asked me to make all of the reality tv boards into sub-boards... when this is a REALITY tv board.

No one is forced to do anything they don't want to. I encourage the posters to help promote if they like the site, if they don't want to, then whatever. This website is brand new, and just became 2 weeks old YESTERDAY. It's not like this website can "promote itself", this website is brand new, it doesn't have that kind of pull on people like other notorious forum sites do.
We will, with or without you. Lets see what happens now that you're nominated after nagging and bitching to me since I woke up.

1.) Reputation should NOT be a system of popularity, but a mark of uncontributing/off-topic/insulting posts. You should change the system to where if someone wants to DeFame/Fame someone, to give a REASON as to why the action is being taken upon, have it be sent to the 'Moderator Section' as a thread, and see if it's legitimate enough, then, you can give it the okay or not.
2.) But what were those reasons for demotion? I feel that if Clay is doing what he needs to be doing, then, there shouldn't be no problem with others. The only logical explanation as to why they don't want him mod is due to his "past acts" on VH1, which is totally unfair. There are a lot of people on this board who haven't always gotten along with others on VH1 MB, yet, they're still a nominee and can possibly become a mod. In Clay's defense, he didn't really do anything.
3.)NI asked you to minimize the size of GIF signatures. J77 was the one who deleted her signature for the sake of my satisfaction, which I did not ask for. Don't blame me for what SHE did. And almost NONE of those were just for MY benefit. A lot of people said that they agreed. And what's wrong with sub-forums? You claim that this is not a social board? I still don't get that, because isn't that what the point of the board is - to be organized?
4.)No one may not be forced to do anything they don't want to do, but when you dangle the bone of 'modmanship' in front of them, that's when it becomes a forced action, and that's mainly the only reason why people are promoting - to become a mod or maintain their modmanship. That's what I was saying.

Maybe if you tried your approach more friendly, you make a thread saying "I gotta get the hell outta here" and attack the site, make friendly suggestions, not demands. MAYBE then people will listen to you |
