I honestly that jersey shore was gona be like real world and have diff guidos each season. The dont need 10k, yea they had a good first season, but whose to say the second wont flop. Like the girls of the hills get paid 100k, but they kinda deserved, when Heidi and Lauren because enemies, they caused alot of publicity.. so i dont think they deserve it just yet.

I have heard that MTV is planning on doing a season 2 with the same cast members (hopefully they don't consider Angelina as one because she sucked big time)...
the word that I have been hearing states that MTV offered the cast $5K to retrun for a second season, but they refused....MTV has now palced an offer of $10K on the table but it has not been confirmed if the cast will accept the new offer (I can't remember if it was for $5/10 grand per episode or the season, plus the cast are doing a whole "Friends" hold out on the money offer)
so, we will see how this pans out for them....hopefully they come to an agreement cause I'm miss Snooki and Jwoww already Yes, I just read this on Bourgy a little while ago, some of the cast members were offered 10k per episode to do a season 2, but they're declining it. In all honesty, I think bringing back the same people is going to be retarded. Especially since their behind the scene money deals are being thrown into the public now, it's obvious they're going to be putting on a show now, rather then being real.

I can't blame them for squawking at 10K per episode- that show generated millions for MTV.
If I was an exec at MTV, I'd tell them to shove off and get an all new cast. Many of these people are going to do other reality-themed TV in the future anyway. Hell, Snooki is the toast of Hollywood now.

I can't imagine the Jersey Shore hype lasting for long. After a few months these people will be a distant figure in the past.
