So after reading Raheem's recap, I figured I'd try watching this show. After seeing this show, I feel as though it was poorly produced and kinda made on a whim. The opening of the show really didn't give you much insight on what's going on, and what's the issue with this show.
They keep saying how it's a summer of multiple women living in Aspen, but as far as i can tell this is just the cameras following Laura and watching her interact with others.
The production value is really low, as the scene seem very jumbled together and randomly placed where they are. There really wasn't enough character development for these girls on their premiere.
It's also unfortunate as it seems this whole series is going to just be rushed together lol(there's only 8 episodes). Some of these women actually seem very entertaining.

wow...yeah, this is VH1's biggest POS ever. I had a friend who spent a year out there in the early 90s, and when I visited it didn't seem anything like this show is trying to portray. Then again, it was winter and I was on the slopes 9-5 and later passed out after one drink...exciting, I know.
Oh yeah, he also lived in Aspen's only trailer park! - wonder if it's still there?
I notice that VH1 says "The return of Aspen's most controversial women..." returning from where? Hopefully they learned what to do and what not the first time.
Uh oh...maybe not.
ASPEN, Colorado — The premier of VH1's “Secrets of Aspen” reality TV series has sparked enough hatred of the show that some residents have complained to the city government and questioned how its production could have been allowed.
“Like it or not, the ‘Secrets of Aspen' premiered on VH1 last night,” wrote Sally Spaulding, the city's community relations officer on her government blog, which appeared on the city's website Monday. “A lot of people have very strong feelings about the show, and many have asked the city of Aspen why we granted it a film permit.”
Spaulding said her office received a few e-mails from people saying they didn't appreciate the show's content and wondered why the city would allow production if it casts the town in a negative light.
On Facebook, the number of members of “Aspen Against VH1's ‘Secrets of Aspen'” had grown to 3,393 as of Monday afternoon.
Comments posted after people had watched the premier Sunday night wrote entries like, “I watched 10 minutes of it and had to turn it off, who likes crap like that? If I see them filming again I will have to tell them to get out of our town ...” and “Seriously, really... this is how people perceive Aspen. So sad and gross.”
Facebook fans of the actual show amounted to 298 as of Monday afternoon but the comments posted were not any less critical of the first episode, entitled “Kickoff Kiss-Off.”

I don't find anything wrong with it, honestly. Maybe the reason for all the jumbled up scenes is because the show is only but a 30 minutes long.
I HOPE they get another season, though. But this time, I want hour-long episodes.

I think this show would make ALOT more sense if it were an hour long. It seems like they just have so much content that they had to jumble it into a half hour segment, which caused it to come off sloppy and low budget.

I didn't watch it, it seems like a rip off of the real housewives.
