Sorry, but there are no pics to be stolen from blog.VH1.com....
Shifty's avoidance behavior is the topic of morning meditation. Last night at the B-B-Q he went upstairs to bed as his young friend was given a UA and told to leave after it came up positive for cocaine.
Everyone agreed that ultimately they were able to see the positives in the event, especially witnessing while sober how inappropriate Jenna's behavior was.
In a 1-on-1 with DrD, Dennis tells him that he has to leave today for a grand prix event in Edmonton, where he has to host two parties.
How can he not drink? Unlikely, since when he has done these events sober, promoters have threatened not to pay- where was that "wild and crazy guy" they expected?
What's really foreign to me is this whole concept of going to a club or party only because a celebrity is going to be there. It's the people I'm with and the "regular" people I meet that determines how good a time I have. And yet Snooki gets 25K to shake her shit in Vegas. Truly fucked up.
As Dennis says his good byes Jennifer says that he's a very lonely man- after watching him on CR3 and SH2 I think she may have a point. He needs to get away from these paid celebrity events where he's expected to be outrageous- gotta be a better way to make a buck when it threatens your life. Bye Dennis.

In a 1on1 with DrD Mike suddenly claims that he's fine, he feels great (I'm surprised he didn't say "I'm cured"). Further that he's not going to do after care at Las Encinas.
DrD is having none of it, saying he's at least two months or more away from unmonitored care, and he can expect huge swings in both mood and physical temperament- both can quickly lead to using as a vent.
Mike: "You're an addictionologist, you don't understand the physical effects..." Pfft.
You can see that Mike's trying to snow DrD and get his blessing to get his own place, and just go from there.
Things hit home when DrD tells him that he's dying of addiction and if he doesn't follow their direction, he won't have DrD and his staff to lean on.
Back at the SH, Bob Forrest has organized a collaboration between Sober House musical alums and an organization called the School of Rock to do a show at a local theatre. Featured will be Ace Frehley (Kiss), who stops by beforehand and tells Mike about his journey to sobriety. It's a good speech, and for a guy who's in his early 60s to have three years sobriety, he is indeed lucky to be alive. At the end he gives Mike a caveat: if he plays the show, Mike has to agree to do long-term aftercare. Smooth and smart move, Ace.
At the soundcheck, Mike and Ace meet Paul Green, the founder of School of Rock- an organization that gives a creative outlet for 12-17 year olds who want to play rock and roll. Things sound good.

DrD sets up a meeting for Jenny with Lisa Gregorich at WB Promotions, since she definitely does not want to go back to the world of porn.
She definitely makes the right noises, especially when she says "I'll do anything, get the coffee, etc.", which Lisa loves, since she's had many interviewees ask for ridiculous jobs right off the bat (kids these days ). We're not clear what transpired, but here's hoping that she's no longer in "the industry".
DrD drives up to the SH to hear Mike now complaining that he feels like shit (that didn't take long). DrD says that he'll cancel the show if Mike wants (cancel the whole thing because of Mike?? I don't think so).
There's a decent line into the theatre, and Kyle Gass (Tenacious D) and Steven Adler (G'n'R) are there; Big Will and Bob are there to keep an eye on the SH gang, making sure they're not tempted to use.
DrD has asked Kendra to do the organizing, because of her experience with her husband Lukas Rossi, who (I guess) won the TV show Rock Star Supernova. She expresses nervousness, because it's late and the show hasn't started. Considering that nobody is supposed to be fucked up, you'd think this would be one rock show that would start on time!

We get treated to a brief but cool rendition of Heart's "Crazy On You" with the lead vocals aptly handled by some unidentified girl. Considering how young these kids are, and that their voices are far from mature, you can see some real talent in these kids- definitely future rockers.
In order to create a situation that didn't happen, we're lead to believe that Mike was late on stage. Anyway, we get Kiss' anthem "Rock and Roll All Night" with Mike playing a bit over the top. Question is, did Drew give him "just one more"?

It's Day 21 and each of the SH gang typically leaves individually. Heidi says one of the funniest lines of the series: "when you break up with her (Monroe), and get some money, call me."
Oh, and we see Loesha. Holy crap, I completely forgot about her. I guess everyone must've started to behave real quick when she came in, so the lack of drama kept her out of the picture.
One really weird visual is of Heidi in a limo driving down the most desolate Nevada back road. Are you kidding me? The 110 degree desert? No way will she stay straight, alone with her crazy birds.

Finally, with Jennifer the last one to go, she says some corny unpoetic stuff about how "the music's stopped."
And with 16 recaps done between CR3 and SH2, I need a break. Word is there'll be a SH4, but a production date has not been scheduled. I think everyone needs a break from this stuff.
